General Conference Games for Toddlers

As I was pondering on General Conference, I was thinking about my son who is 3 1/2 years old.  During Conference, he usually just plays with toys in the corner.  This time, I thought it might be fun to try and include him more with the other kids during Conference.  He is too young to play the listening games, but he can still participate as he plays some games that I only bring out for General Conference.  I began to get some inspiration on what to draw and put together for him.  I am really excited to see how he enjoys these 7 activities that I came up with.  They are on my Etsy Shop.

Here’s a sample of what comes in the Toddler Kit!!

While I was putting these together today, my 3 year old grabbed the train tracks right away and started playing with it forever!  I knew it would be a hit since he LOVES trains especially Thomas the Train.  It was one of the first games I dreamed up.  I knew anything with a train would be a hit.  The inspiration about that game comes from the movie the “Mountain of the Lord” when they were building the Salt Lake Temple.  They stopped working on the temple at one time so that they could finish the railroads.  The stone was taken to the temple site much faster after it was built.

Here is a FREE Game for you!  It is a fun “Who Is Speaking?”  This is also a great one for the older kids to learn the order of the Apostles and Prophets.

All of the pieces are suppose to use magnets on the backside.  You can purchase a small cookie sheet from the Dollar Tree to put the game on and then the pieces will stick to it!  Enjoy!
