New Years Resolutions 101

Statically, you won’t keep that resolution you’ve just wrote in your diary (perhaps another resolution?). So why make them at all?  Don’t give up yet—statistics also show that setting resolutions make a person not only look at their life analytically, but also give one something to work towards. Both of these factors are highly motivating and the process typically provides  increased self-confidence.

According to the U.S. Government, some of our top resolutions include: weight loss, paying off debt, taking a trip,  volunteering and reducing stress. Experts often suggest sticking to “SMART” goals and resolutions, which is an acronym for: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Rewarding and Time-specific. Start to brainstorm and put direction in your life with resolutions and goals, no matter if it is January or July!
