For General Conference, I bought a clipboard for each of my children so that they can use it during the listening games to write on as well as to follow along with the Conference Packet that the church has available online. I have used these packets for the past 2 years from the church. They are awesome.
There is a place for each apostle and prophet to draw a picture and write what they are speaking about. They are great keepsakes, like a journal, to see what was being heard by your child and to see the progression in understanding the speakers. I thought I would make a clipboard with a fun “Who Has Spoken Already in General Conference?” on the backside of the clipboard.
As the speaker comes up, have your child use a dry eraser marker and check off the name of the person that is speaking. All you need to do if you want to use this clipboard idea is print the free printable below on card stock, laminate it and Modge Podge it to the back or front side of the clipboard. I’d love to hear if you are joining us on this fun adventure as we help our children “listen with my heart, I feel the Savior’s love” through the mouth’s of the prophet and apostles.
