In celebration of the Savior’s birth tomorrow morning, I thought it would be fun to remember all of our other loved ones that have passed on.  If you know anything about me, you know that I love to work and learn about my Family History.  As we begin to home school in January, I want to incorporate our family history and what was happening in the World at that time.  I thought it would be fun to celebrate our ancestors birthday, learn a little bit about them, share stories, look at pictures and understand the historical setting in which they lived in on their birthday.  Today’s freebie is a 12-month birthday calendar for you to print and then fill in with your ancestors date of birth.  I am going to start with grandparents, great grandparents, great-great grandparents and see how far back I can go to at least have one ancestor’s birthday per week.  I’ll post my 12-month calendar this week so you can check out a sample.  Maybe we are even distant cousins as you browse through my family tree!  I will also add some ideas on how to teach your children about their ancestors, how to search your own family tree and other tips and tricks to turn your hearts to your ancestors throughout the New Year.  Have a Very Merry Christmas Eve this day as you celebrate with your loved ones here on earth.  Click on the image below to download the pdf file.
