Many cities claim that they are good retirement locations.  In his book Retire in Style, Warren Bland, PhD., gives his opinion: Bolder, Colorado.  He says it has the best combination of landscape, climate, quality of life and health care.

Among his other favorites: Portland, OR; Asheville, NC; Austin, TX; Boca Raton, FL; Chapel Hill, NC; Colorado Springs, CO; and Madison, WI.
