About the Authors
Chalon Linton was first introduced to Jane Austen by a dear friend and now she can’t get enough of handsome men in tailcoats. Her intrigue in the genre stems from a nostalgic longing for manners, wit, and true love. Fortunately, Chalon found her dashing gentleman, married him, and now lives happily ever after in Southern California.
My Review
This novel was just perfect. The love story between Lizzy and Barton was so sweet, clean and filled with hope although they had to pass many obstacles in the process. This is a regency story of betrayal, heartache, family bond, sacrifice and love. When Lizzy finds herself at the mercy of her wicked Uncle, she escapes with her brother, Thomas, and begins a chain of events that is a page-turner. I stayed up way too late to finish this awesome book. I highly recommend it! Also, if you haven’t read her other book “A Tangled Inheritance” you can get it today for only $0.99!! I love this author, can’t wait for her next book.
