Elder Ronald A. Rasband was the first called Apostle in October of 2015 when 3 new apostles were announced during General Conference. Prior to his call to the Quorum of the Twelve, he was in the Presidency of the Seventy.  To learn more about his unique life and call to the Twelve, visit here and here.  Elder Rasband has a powerful and humble testimony of Jesus Christ.  I am so grateful for living prophets and apostles and I can't wait to learn from them during General Conference.  

I put together a kit about Elder Rasband with a worksheet to fill out about his life using the above links as well as a few pages of Missionary Stationary that you can print, write and send to the missionaries you love.  The missionary stationary was inspired by one of the talks that Elder Rasband gave during Conference called "The Divine Call of a Missionary."  He also served a mission in New York and he was later called to serve as a Mission President in the same state years later.
