Need a quick snack to keep your child’s energy up? Here’s an easy recipe that has no dairy, gluten free, no eggs or soy. This is right up my son’s alley. There are very few things he can eat because of his food allergies, but this one works! You can add or subtract what your child can eat and come up with your own recipe.
Here’s the recipe:
1.5 cups of Oats
1/4 cup Honey
2 Tbsp. Flax Seed Meal
2 Tbsp. Almond Butter
1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
3 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Coco Powder
I just mixed it all together. I used a spoon to scoop and then roll them into balls. I placed them on some wax paper and put them in the fridge for 20 mins. My kids love them!
