32 Ideas for General Conference Weekend

September 23, 2015

During the April General Conference this year, I put together some fun ideas to keep our children engaged in the talks spoken during 8 hours of conference.  It was a HUGE HIT!  My children all said it was the best weekend of the year.  Wow, that was eye opening.  I realized that General Conference can be a great time for the kids to hear from the leaders of the church and still have fun as a family.  With a little bit (or a lot on my end) of preparation, your kids can say the same thing and look forward to General Conference every 6 months.  They loved to see what activity or treat they would find in each of the speaker bags as well as the in-between conference meals and desserts.  I have listed the 32 ideas that I have posted throughout my website right here for you to easily put together your own Conference weekend event!  I will be adding more printables, games, meal ideas and the awesome tents we made this weekend so check back before Conference begins next week for more fun!!
