My daughter asked me yesterday if she can help me get ready for General Conference. Of course, I said, “Yes!” We are always excited when Conference comes around again. This week we will be pulling out our bins, purchasing some snacks and getting prepared to enjoy Conference this weekend. One of the best ideas that I use during Conference is a simple tent for each of the kids. This helps them from fighting with one another since they all have their own personal space. All you need is a twin sheet, some pieces of wood, a pipe, end cap and staple gun. Here is a video on how to assemble your tent in time for General Conference or to have your children use as a reading or play tent. These make excellent gifts for birthday parties and Christmas!
You can also paint the wood like I did for a gift I made for someone.
I absolutely love these tents and wish I would have had them when my children were small! Where was Brightly Street when I was raising my babies?!
Haha. You will have to make them when the grandkids start coming around!
I’ve added this to my list at https://ldsmediatalk.com/2017/09/30/childrens-activities-for-lds-general-conference-13/
