Primary Lesson: Prayer

I love teaching the primary children at my church each Sunday.  There are 8 fun and energetic 3 year old cuties.  They make me laugh.  I was teaching them last Sunday about prayer and that we can pray to Heavenly Father.  I had the kids color this picture that I drew.  The boy was from a past Digital Scrapbooking kit that I created last year.  We talked about how Jesus Christ set the example of how we should pray and we also talked about what we do while we pray.  I told them about how we fold our arms, close our eyes and I asked the kids what they should do with their head.  One of the sweet little girls said, "you have to dunk your head."  So cute.  "Yes," I said and told them, "we bow our head or dunk it!"

Here's a coloring page for you to use with your kids.  You can also download "The Sandwich Prayer" to help teach your children or primary class how to pray.  They love to talk about food!  Enjoy.
